The job of the variator is to provide smooth transmission gearing by changing through different gear ratios. This Polini variator's wide adjustable range of ratios makes for excellent acceleration and slightly higher top speed. Keep in mind that choosing the proper roller weights is really important if you want to get good results.
For most models, 2 or 3 sets of HQ roller weights are included.
Top-of -the-line variator suited up to midrange tuning.
