What is a PWK carburetor?

PWK carburetors are large diameter tuning carburetors that are mainly intended for tuning and racing . They are equipped with a fuel inlet, a chromed flat slide, a powerjet, a large float chamber and a lever choke. There are two main groups:

• 21mm - 30mm: Manifold connection 35mm and air filter connection 50mm
• 30mm - 34mm: Manifold connection 39 mm and air filter connection 55 mm

In terms of performance, the carburetor offers improved throttle response and better filling at high rpm. This improves engine response and increases top speed.

It is mostly the look that sets this PWK carburetor MotoForce Racing V2 apart from other models: the charcoal carburetor body is framed by an orange anodized round CNC aluminum cover on top and an orange float bowl screw at the bottom. Great combo of performance and custom style!

WHich carburetor size do I need?

It is very important to properly size your new PWK carburetor - not too big and not too small! If it is too small, the engine may overheat, and if it is too big, fuel consumption will be unnecessarily high and the performance will not be appropriate.

Here are our recommendations:

• Carburetor PWK 21 mm (MJ* 105, PJ* 38, Power* 32) ==> 50 - 70 cc Sport / Racing
• Carburetor PWK 24 mm (MJ 100, PJ 38, Power 32) ==> 70 - 80 cc Sport / Racing
• Carburetor PWK 26 mm (MJ 108, PJ 38, Power 32) ==> 70 - 80 cc Sport / Racing
• Carburetor PWK 28 mm (MJ 120, PJ 48, Power 32) ==> 70 - 80 cc Racing / High-End
• Carburetor PWK 30 mm (MJ 136, PJ 40, Power 32) ==> 80 - 90 cc High-End
• Carburetor PWK 32 mm (MJ 142, PJ 40, Power 32) ==> 80 - 90 cc High-End
• Carburetor PWK 34 mm (MJ 142, PJ 45, Power 32) ==> 90 - 100 cc High-End

Please note :

1. When installing this type of carburetor, the original intake system can no longer be used, you will need a larger intake manifold / larger intake rubber with a diameter of 35 mm or 40 mm; in addition, you'll have to replace the original throttle cable, original air filter and the original fuel tap against a model without vaccum port.
2. The body of this PWK carburetor with screw-on cover is slightly larger than other PWK models, so it uses a smaller choke. If you have difficulties with handling, we recommend to change to cable choke. You will need a cable choke adapter (for PWK) and a choke button.
