Air filter box white Yamaha BW's / Slider / MBK Booster / Stunt (Minarelli vertical). The air filter box is virtually identical to the original part and can therefore be easily replaced without any further modifications. Unlike the original, however, it is white and can therefore be used for custom purposes.
what is the air filter for?
The air filter box is an essential component of a scooter's intake system. It feeds clean, filtered air to the carburetor to ensure an optimum air-fuel ratio for efficient combustion.
If the air filter housing is clogged or damaged, this can lead to reduced engine performance, increased fuel consumption, premature wear of parts such as the cylinder or even clogged exhaust pipes.
Many scooter riders choose to replace the original air filter box with a pod air filter to improve performance. However, it is important to note that this may affect the warranty on certain parts as well as compliance with environmental regulations.

Luftfilterkasten
Die meisten Fahrzeuge mit Verbrennungsmotor veerfügen über einen Luftfilterkasten, auch Airbox genannt. Der Grund dafür ist, dass ein Motor Luft braucht, um zu funktionieren, und diese Luft muss sauber sein, um zuverlässige Motorleistung möglich zu machen. Die Luft muss also gefiltert werden, und der Filter muss außerdem trocken bleiben, damit er effizient filtern kann.
Der Luftfilterkasten enthält diesen Filter und schützt ihn vor Nässe und Schmutz.
Luftfilterkasten: Leistung
Die Größe des Luftfilterkasten variiert von Fahrzeug zu Fahrzeug. Das Luftvolumen wirkt sich auf die Leistung des Motors aus.
Bei leistungsstarken Motoren (Rennzylinder) oder Motoren mit großem Hubraum (Big Bore) wird oft ein größeres Luftvolumen benötigt. Aus diesem Grund wird bei getunten Zweirädern manchmal auf die original Airbox verzichtet und stattdessen ein offener Sportluftfilter verbaut, oder man entscheidet sich für einen größeren Luftfilterkasten, wie z. B. eine Karting Airbox, um den Filter weiterhin effektiv schützen zu können.
Bei Motocross Maschinen ist der serienmäßig verbaute original Luftfilterkasten im Gegensatz zu Motorrollern, Schaltmopeds und Mofas in der Regel ausreichend, selbst wenn der Motor stark getunt wird.
