Reed Valve and reeds

The reed valve with the reed petals (reed blades or simply reeds) that are mounted to it controls the intake of the fuel-air mixture into the cylinder via the vacuum generated in the cylinder. Since the petals move very quickly and are thus subjected to heavy stresses, they must be replaced at regular intervals. Our selection of spare reed petals is huge - carbon (CFRP), fiberglass (GRP) or original.

The actual reed valve can be replaced with a performance valve, here are our top brands:
