Brake Calipers for Maxiscooters

Although the brake caliper is not technically a wear part, it may occasionally need to be repaired or replaced.

We work with renowned brands to supply you with quality products, including Stage6, Stage6 R/T, Motoforce, Brembo, AJP, or Grimeca.

When to replace the Brake Caliper?

The brake caliper transfers hydraulic pressure from the braking system by pressing the brake pads against the brake disc. Therefore, it must be completely sealed and powerful enough to exert the necessary pressure to stop the vehicle.

Maintenance / Repair of the Original Brake Caliper:

You installed a new brake disc and new pads, degreased everything, bled the system, and broken them in, but the braking performance is still too weak? The brake caliper might be seized or leaking. The pistons can rust, and the seals can become porous. While these can be replaced, in some cases replacing the complete brake caliper is more practical and cost-effective.

You have the choice between a more expensive original brake caliper (OEM) or a suitable replacement part in OE quality for your model. Since these are swapped one-to-one for the original part, no modifications are required.

improved braking Performance: Racing Brake Calipers

For tuning projects with significant power increases for racing or specific disciplines, the standard braking system can become insufficient. In addition to oversize brake discs, more powerful calipers provide a solution, for example, a radial 4-piston version. When this presses the pads onto the disc, the braking effect is significantly higher due to the larger contact area.

Note: A special master cylinder may be required for powerful and precise braking performance.
