MotoForce Racing Intake Manifold Kit with Reinforcement Plate AM6 / Derbi
This MotoForce Racing kit includes an intake manifold for 19 - 24 mm PWK carburetors, an aluminium reinforcement plate, and four M6x25 steel bolts. It is designed for 50cc gear bikes with AM6 or Derbi engine.
PWK Intake Manifold with 35mm Connection
The intake manifold is made of durable, hydrocarbon-resistant rubber and features a 24 mm round passage to the reed valve. Four slotted holes allow installation on both AM6 and Derbi engines. The intake manifold with a 35mm connection diameter and 24mm passage is designed for 19 - 24 mm PWK carburetors, but can also be used with larger carburetors.
Anodized Mounting Plate
The CNC-machined aluminum reinforcement plate both strengthens the intake manifold mounting and adds a finished look to the intake area. Over time, stress from the frame geometry, carburetor weight, or air filter can deform the intake manifold between its mounting points. The plate acts as a brace to support the manifold and help reduce the risk of deformation and potential air leaks.

Intake manifold for scooters, motorcycles, and mopeds
The intake manifold is an essential part of the intake system, it directs the air-fuel mixture to the cylinder. Here are the main types of intake manifolds:
Intake manifold with rubber flange
Intake manifolds with flexible intake rubber are the most common type. Flexible materials such as rubber or silicone absors the vibrations of the engine. This flexibility reduces the risk of cracks or leaks. In addition, the flexible mounting makes it easy to adapt the intake manifold to different engine setups.
Intake manifold with metal flange
These rigid-mount intake manifolds are more commonly used on vintage scooters, classic motorcycles or old mopeds. The intake flange is usually made of metal, which provides greater strength and resistance to deformation. Rigidmetal flange assembly also ensures more precise alignment between intake manifold and carburetor.
Swivel intake manifold
Rotatable intake manifolds are commonly used on 50cc motorcycles. They offer greater flexibility in installation, allowing to align the carburetor to meet individual needs.
Note: The diameter of the intake manifold must fit the intake manifold connection width of the carburetor!
