Gilera SMT 50 - General information
The Gilera SMT 50 is a supermoto that is known for its sporty design and versatility. The styling of the Gilera SMT is based on off-road bikes, but it is optimized for road use. Gilera 50 SMT - Engine
The engine consists of a liquid-cooled 2-stroke Derbi Euro 3 D50B0 engine. The water cooling system keeps the engine at the optimum temperature so that it can deliver full power at all times. The mixture is prepared in the carburetor. Like most supermotos, the Gilera SMT has a manual 6-speed gearbox (foot shift pedal). The engine can be started both electrically and by kickstarter.
Gilera SMT 50 - Suspension
The suspension consists of a hydraulic fork (front) and a monoshock damper (rear). The brake system consists of two disc brakes: front brake disc Ø 260 mm and rear brake disc Ø 220 mm. The tire size is 100/80-17 at the front and 130/70-17 at the rear.
