Exhaust Headers for scooter and Motorcycle

The exhaust header or headpipe is an integral part of many original scooter and motorcycle exhausts.

Scooter Exhaust Header

The header pipe is the fixed connection between cylinder and exhaust. Most headpipes are factory equipped with a restrictor that reduces the diameter and restricts maximum power. For those who want to derestrict their scooter, but do not want to remove the original throttle in case they want to use the original header again, there are derestricted exhaust header pipes.

Motorcycle exhaust Header

In motorcycle exhausts, the head pipe plays an important role. Its main function is to connect the cylinder(s) to the muffler.

Some motorcycle headers are specifically designed to improve gas flow, resulting in increased engine power and better torque. Manifolds are often made of stainless steel or titanium, are very heat resistant and durable. In addition to optimizing performance, exhaust headers can also improve the sound of the exhaust.
