Styling parts for vintage mopeds: retro style and custom look

Customizing classic mopeds is not about simple restoration. For models such as Piaggio Ciao, Tomos, Puch Maxi, Simson Schwalbe, Peugeot 103, MBK 51, Vespino or the legendary Derbi Variant, the style comes from balancing original character with an individual touch. Whether a restomod build or a classic racing look, our selection of products for visual tuning for mopeds helps set your bike apart from the stock look while highlighting the simple mechanics appreciated by enthusiasts.

We offer suitable accessories from well-known manufacturers such asPolini, Stage6, STR8, MotoForce, Doppler, etc, which perfectly complement this retro design. The parts focus on chrome-plated surfaces, polished aluminum, and designs in the style of classic mopeds.

Cockpit and chassis accessories: unique vintage look

The handlebar and frame line define the silhouette of models such as Piaggio Si or Mobylette. For these mopeds, a clean look is key. With the right components, the original appearance can be adjusted precisely:

  • Low handlebars and M handlebars: lower the riding position for a flatter, sportier line. For a classic style, chrome-plated multi-piece handlebars with or without a crossbar are also available.

For Simson mopeds, seats Schmitt and seat covers with padding and contrast stitching are available. Venandi Motors also offers color-anodized Simson handlebar clamps for precise mounting and an upgraded handlebar appearance.

Visual tuning and details: customization down to the smallest detail

With classic visual tuning, small details make the difference between a standard build and a custom project. Current setups focus on subtle integration of modern components:

  • Pedals and footrests: on models such as Puch Maxi or Piaggio Ciao, replacing plastic pedals with aluminum versions is a typical modification.
  • Bolts and covers: anodized bolt kits from STR8 or fuel caps with a distinctive design provide a clean look.
  • Racing details: small accessories such as stickers, handlebar pads, handlebar covers, or custom valve caps.

For those not planning a complete rebuild, there are high-quality standard parts with improved appearance. These include side stands, polished brake levers, original Piaggio emblems, footrests, shift levers, and kickstarter levers with high-quality finishes.
