Peugeot TKR - General information
The Peugeot TKR was first introduced in 1998 as the successor to the Peugeot Squab under the name Peugeot Trekker. Similar models were the Piaggio TPH and the Pegasus Sky 50. In 2001, the Trekker was renamed TKR, probably because the name reminded the marketing department too much of an old tractor.
Peugeot TKR 50 - Engine
The Peugeot Trekker has a vertical air-cooled, single-cylinder Peugeot 2-stroke engine, the mixture is prepared in a variator (with reed valve), and it has a modern automatic CVT transmission with a drive belt.
Peugeot scooter - Chassis
The front suspension consists of an upside-down fork and the rear suspension of a monoshock absorber. The brake system consists of a disc brake (Ø 190mm) at the front and a drum brake (Ø 110mm) at the rear.
