Aprilia SR 50cc Funmaster LC
With the arrival of the third generation of the model in 2000 (RL-type frame), the Italian brand introduced the Aprilia SR 50 Funmaster. This variant retained the sporty and youthful spirit of the SR series, debuting a completely redesigned body with sharper lines and dual headlights.
Mechanically, the Funmaster marked the brand’s transition after it stopped using Minarelli engines, initially featuring Aprilia/ Morini carbureted engines and, starting in 2003, the water-cooled Piaggio Hi-Per2 engine; in both phases, it featured disc brakes on both wheels.
