CPI Supermoto 50cc – General Information
The CPI Supermoto 50cc has established itself as a supermoto that combines sporty design with reliable technology. The SMSX model was produced between 2005 and 2015 and was particularly popular for its agile handling and versatility in city traffic as well as on cross-country rides. Engine and Performance
The CPI is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engine, delivering 2.2 kW (3 hp) at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 3.9 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Liquid cooling ensures stable operating temperatures even during intensive use in the city. The reed valve intake system optimizes engine charging and ensures balanced, predictable handling. With a displacement of 49cc, the engine was designed to offer maximum performance within legal limits.

Drivetrain and Handling

The gearing ranges from a very short first gear (3.05) for a snappy start at city lights to a long sixth gear (0.96) for relaxed riding on open roads, so you can perfectly adapt the moped to any situation.

Chassis and Safety
The tubular steel frame offers the mix of rigidity and agility typical of supermotos. Hydraulic disc brakes guarantee easily modulated braking power. The 17-inch alloy wheels offer the ideal balance of directional stability and maneuverability.

To keep the engine running optimally, you should use fully synthetic two-stroke oil (1 liter tank), SAE 15W fork oil (315 ml per leg), and the appropriate gearbox oil (650 ml).
