Founded in 1988 by Jean Bidalot, the French company Bidalot Technologies develops and distributes engine parts for mopeds, scooters, and 50cc geared mopeds. Through its strong commitment to racing, it is the only French company to have achieved Grand Prix victories in the motorcycle world championship. True to its pure racing approach, the brand went a step further with the introduction of its Bidalot variator with weights for mopeds.

An exceptional variator
The Bidalot S2R variator with weights is designed differently than conventional CVT systems. Similar to the Doppler S3R, it uses a weight system that allows for optimal tuning across different power ranges. Bidalot's original system is extremely efficient and perfectly tailored to 50cc and 70cc sport setups. The Bidalot variator offers excellent performance with snappy acceleration and good pull. Even if the range is not huge, this technically sophisticated model stands out and offers top reliability at a fair price.
The variator plays a crucial role in the engine's revving. Therefore, you should rely on products known for their compatibility. This is the only way to achieve a smooth transmission ratio that cleanly transfers maximum power to the rear wheel and gets the best out of your moped.
