Function and advantages of Stage6 motor mount

Stock sleeves are not designed for racing use and tend to quickly develop lateral play at the circlips under heavy loads, leading to vibrations, unstable engine positioning and loss of power.

To address this issue, Stage6 developed this multi-piece subframe tube made from high-strength aluminum.

The system ensures precise centering and a secure hold of the engine block between the Stage6 axle tubes. It also simplifies engine removal, which is especially useful when replacing crankshafts or bearings.

On the race track, the tube increases frame rigidity and eliminates unwanted movements of the engine, which is a clear performance advantage with direct impact on lap times.

Visually, the subframe tube stands out with a high-quality, technical look, ideal for custom Nitro or Aerox builds with rear-facing carburetor setups. The original engine bolt must be replaced by two suitable screws.
