Spokes
Most motocross bikes, pit bikes, enduro bikes and supermotos are fitted with spoked wheels. The spokes can be replaced individually or as a complete set. Good to know: you don't have to replace the entire wheel, it is often sufficient to replace the spoke(s).
The spokes are not only model-specific, but usually also fit specifically on a respective rim and hub brand. When ordering new spokes, you should therefore be particularly careful and doublecheck whether the chosen product will really fit your wheels.
The threads can also differ from spoke brand to spoke brand, so always order the matching spoke nipples.
replacing wheel spokes
To replace broken spokes, the wheel must be completely removed, including the rim, rim tape and tire, as this is the only way to access the spoke nipples on the inside of the rim.
If you are replacing a single spoke, you only need to tighten the new spoke correctly.
If you are replacing all the spokes, you need to center the rim. Although this is not particularly difficult, it does require patience and special tools.
