Schaltpedal
Bei Schalthebel handelt es sich eigentlich um ein Schaltpedal, also einen Fußschalthebel. Er befindet sich meist auf der linken Seite des Fahrzeugs und ist in Reichweite des Fußes angebracht. Mit dem Schalthebel kann der Fahrer in die verschiedenen Gänge schalten.
Funktionsweise Schalthebel
Motorrad Schaltpedale folgen in der Regel dem Schaltschema "1-N-2-3-4-5-6", wobei "N" für Leerlauf (Neutral) steht und die Zahlen die verschiedenen Gänge angeben. Um in den ersten Gang zu schalten, muss das Schaltpedal nach unten gedrückt werden, für alle anderen Gänge wird der Schalthebel mit der Fußspitze angehoben. Der Schalthebel wird zusammen mit dem Kupplungshebel verwendet, der zum Schalten der Gänge ausgerückt sein muss.
Schalthebel wechseln
Der Winkel des Fußschalthebels kann an Körpergröße und Fahrstil angepasst werden, hierzu wird das Pedal abgeschraubt und neu auf der Achse positioniert.
Darüber hinaus könnt ihr mit farbigen Schalthebeln ein wenig Optik Tuning betreiben und euer Zweirad individuell gestalten. Schalthebel gibt ist in verschiedenen Designs und Farben, manchmal sogar passend zum Bremspedal.
