Conversion to LED turn signals

When converting to economical and powerful LED indicators, the correct flashing frequency can only be guaranteed by a resistor or a special LED flasher relay. If for some reason you can't use an LED flasher relay, for example if the relay is fixed and cannot be removed, a resistor is a good alternative. Just like a relay, it limits and controls the current to keep at at the specific level needed for the LEDs.
