Advantages of a Quick turn Throttle

A quick-action throttle, also known as a quick turn throttle, reduces the rotation angle of the throttle grip and therefore shortens throttle travel. This is especially useful when upgrading to a larger carburetor with a larger bore and a longer throttle slide opening travel. The long rotation required by a standard throttle can become inconvenient over time.

Domino Quick-Action Throttles

We offer the Domino quick-action throttles in various versions. Available in black and aluminum/chrome finishes, with either an upward or horizontal throttle cable outlet. Travel and rotation angle are specified; the smaller the angle, the faster the throttle slide can open.

For quarter-mile and drag racing, a shorter angle is recommended, while a larger angle is generally better suited for street use.
