The piston stopper M14 x 1.25mm is an inexpensive tool to block the piston, if you want to remove e.g. the variator or the ignition.

The plastic cap at the end protects the piston, but please use it very carefully!

Use of a piston stop

Since the piston stopper touches the surface of the piston, please turn the piston until it stops. The tool is simply screwed into the cylinder head in place of the spark plug. Then carefully turn the variator until the piston touches the tool and blocks the crankshaft. Now you can loosen components that are connected on the crankshaft.
