Piston kit 70 Stage6 Street Race Piaggio AC/LC & CPI
We offer you the Stage6 Street Race 70cc cast-iron piston, B rib, 46.96 mm diameter, with 12 mm pin, designed for the Stage6 70cc Street Race cylinder. It is compatible with Piaggio scooter engines as well as CPI / Keeway engines fitted with a 12 mm piston pin.
When you notice a loss of power or reduced compression, it's time to replace your piston with a new one. This original Stage6 cylinder piston is designed for periodic engine maintenance.

Don't forget to order the engine top gasket kit required for each dismantling operation.
Manufacturers generally recommend piston replacement at 10,000km for original engines. On tuned engines, this mileage is necessarily lower. We recommend replacement between 5,000 and 7,500km on sport range cylinder kits.

When to replace the piston?
To find out when the piston on your motorcycle, scooter or moped needs to be replaced, it's best to check your bike's manual. You can also keep an eye out for certain symptoms such as loss of compression, loss of power or oil consumption (only for a four-stroke piston).
Extending Piston life
To extend the life of the piston and reduce cylinder wear, it is recommended that you replace the piston rings on an alternating basis. This method maximizes piston life and improves engine performance.
It is important that you replace cylinder gaskets and piston circlips each time you disassemble the cylinder and piston. Failure to do so can result in oil leaks and engine damage.
