Beschreibung
Castrol Motorcylce Coolant / Radiator Fluid -25 degrees 1L – pre-diluted ready-to-use ethylene glycol based coolant for water-cooled motorcycles and scooters. It also acts as an antifreeze additive for temperatures up to -25 °C.
The components of the cooling system are protected against corrosion to ensure longer engine life. The liquid is not harmful to paint in case of spillage or leakage.

Kühlmittel
Man spricht zwar von wassergekühlten Motoren, aber einfaches Wasser ist nicht wirklich geeignet, da es das Aluminium des Kurbelgehäuses oxidieren oder im Winter gefrieren kann.
Bei getunten Motoren und unter extremen Bedingungen (Endurance, Sandbahnrennen) ist es besser, ein leistungsstarkes Kühlmittel zu verwenden.
Bei einem leichten Leck könnt ihr ein Kühlerdichtmittel verwenden und solltet natürlich Kühler, Schläuche und Wasserpumpe überprüfen.
