Stage6 21mm intake kit Piaggio - complete tuning intake kit for Piaggio scooters 50cc - 180cc.

This package has been put together to save time and hassle when tuning the intake system. With this kit, the intake system of the bike can be upgraded in one step and performance can be noticeably improved. The components are perfectly matched, so no unnecessary adjustments are needed - install the parts and it's done.

Components Stage6 intake / carburetor kit

Stage6 R/T PWK 21 carburetor. Installing a larger carburetor, here 21mm, is recommended for all types of tuning (increased displacement, sport or racing exhaust, etc.). The Stage6 R/T PWK carburetor with powerjet improves engine response and also supports very high-performance engines effectively. Note: As this is a racing product, the carburetor has neither vacuum nor oil port.
Aluminum intake manifold. The HQ carburetor is complemented by the matching intake system with aluminum intake manifold and 2x rubber flange with oil/vacuum connection. The relatively short intake tract improves engine response.
Reed valve. Includes fiberglass petals + 2x stuffer.
Stage6 racing air filter: The intake kit also includes the matching Stage6 racing air filter (short) with high filter performance and optimized flow. The sport air filter with 48mm connection is red.
Transparent HQ Stage6 fuel hose: Also included is a HQ 5x9mm fuel hose by Stage6, made from high-quality, durable material that hardens slowly.

Intake Kit for scooter, motorcycle and moped

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.

The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

Intake manifold
Reed valve
Sometimes with spacer / socket

What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?

Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.

Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
