Function of bellows

Bellows protect the fork or the fork seals from dirt, moisture and mechanical damage (e.g. stone chips). In addition, protection against water and dirt minimizes corrosion of the metal parts of the fork. The service life of the fork is extended and maintenance costs are reduced.

The bellows help to keep the sliding surfaces of the fork clean, allowing the fork to move smoothly and evenly. This improves ride quality and suspension response.
