Cylinder kit MXS Sport 70cc aluminum Minarelli vertical

Sport 70cc cylinder kit from MXS Racing (racing division of Maxiscoot). The MXS 70cc cylinder has 7 transfer ports and an oval exhaust. It is made of aluminum and the sleeve is Nikasil-coated. The cylinder kit comes with a 1-ring piston with 10mm piston pin and the specially developed high compression cylinder head.

The cylinder is similar to the MXS Racing cylinder, but has lower port timings, which provides more torque and traction in the mid RPM range.

Performance MXS Sport cylinder

To exploit the full potential of the cylinder, we recommend a 17.5-21mm carburetor and an entry-level performance exhaust. We recommend a Yasuni R, Bidalot S3R, Doppler S3R or a Yasuni C16 exhaust. However, the cylinder also works very well with inconspicuous exhaust such as Yasuni Eco (YASE20) or Tecnigas Silent Pro (TG0307376) due to the low stall time.

With the right engine setup, this tuning cylinder can achieve up to a whopping 16 hp!!!!

The cylinder is of course supplied with all the parts required for installation. To achieve maximum performance and durability, it is important to measure and readjust the squish clearance.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Aluminium cylinders

Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

Echt guter Zylinder mit Dampf, habe mir ein Alltags- Setup gebaut.
Was viele nicht für möglich gehalten haben, ging doch echt easy.

Fahre den MXS mit einem 17,5er CP Vergaser, MVT DD, Malossi Vario und Kupplung und einem Malossi Wild Lion Auspuff.

Meine Bws schiebt so heftig nach vorne, das ich nur noch am grinsen bin, macht mega Spaß.

Das hätte ich wirklich nicht erwartet. Mit dem MXS Ansaugsystem,der MVT DD Innenrotorzündung,24er Polini PWK,Malossi MHR Vario,Polini Evo 3 Kupplung und C16 Yazuni war der Booster mit einer 122er HD auf Anhieb sauber abgestimmt. Die schiebt nach vorne,das ist beängtigend mit dem leichten Booster :)
Motorblock muß ein bisschen gefrässt werden,na gut das hat sich gelohnt . Aber man muß sich das überlegen,der geht bei 60 noch hoch und dann bei Vollgas gibt es kein Abbruch bis über 100 durch ,er drückt immer giftig und überholt 125er als wenn Sie Rückwärts einparken würden. Quetschkannte wirklich nicht über 0,7 stellen sonst wird es zahmer. Also bolß kein andern nehmen außer vieleicht MXS Racing ? Na ja wer alles richtig eingestellt hat und die Welle gewechselt hat der wird unmöglich kein Spaß haben damit,mit normaler Scheibenbremse wie bei mir ist das natürlich ein bisschen Grenzwertig,sollte schon frei sein die Strecke......
