Reinforced tuning crankshaft Schmitt "Drehfreund" for Simson S51, S70, S83 with M500, M700 engine case. Schmitt defines the range of this crankshaft for engines from 80 - 110cc displacement.
Features crankshaft Drehfreund
The precisely manufactured crankshaft made in Germany has 44mm stroke with 85mm connecting rod. The lightweight, polished connecting rod (70g) is supplied with a high-quality, silver-plated small end bearing. The upper and lower needle bearings are optimally lubricated by several extra-large holes in the connecting rod.
The materials are of very high quality and the production is precise. All critical points have been sufficiently reinforced to ensure smooth running and optimum rigidity even at high engine speeds. Concentricity deviation and bearing seat fit comply with the latest measurement and manufacturing standards. The pre-compression is optimized and ensures a wide torque band.
And another treat for tuners: on the clutch side, the crankshaft stub has been extended to allow the installation of an optional 3rd crankshaft bearing.
The crankshaft runs noticeably smoother than original crankshafts, even at high engine speeds. The Drehfreund crankshaft from Schmitt is suitable for both original setups and powerful, high-revving tuning engines.

Wie wechselt man eine Kurbelwelle?
Die Kurbelwelle ist eine der Hauptkomponenten des Motors und für den reibungslosen Betrieb von Motorrad, Roller und Mofa zuständig, egal ob mit Zweitakt- oder Viertaktmotor. Die Langlebigkeit des Motors hängt nicht nur vom einwandfreien Zustand der Kurbelwelle ab, sondern auch davon, dass sie richtig montiert ist.

Wie kann ich feststellen, ob meine Kurbelwelle defekt ist?
Eine kaputte Kurbelwelle verursacht metallische Geräusche, ungewöhnliche Vibrationen, undichte Wellendichtringe und verringert die Leistung des Zweirads drastisch. In jedem Fall muss das Fahrzeug sofort angehalten werden, damit der Schaden nicht noch größer wird.
Bitte beachtet, dass bei jedem Wechsel und Wartung der Kurbelwelle neue Kurbelwellenlager eingebaut werden müssen.
