Stage6 R/T carburetor type PWK 21mm - 34mm

The Stage6 R/T PWK flat slide carburetor from KOSO is produced especially for Stage6. The racing carburetor is designed for powerful 50cc - 100cc racing and high-end setups. The polished, turned-out intake tract ensures better air flow and therefore improved engine response. The PWK carburetor is also equipped with a powerjet. The black racing finish gives the carburetor a particularly classy appearance.

We recommend the combination with a double layer air filter from Stage6 or the use of an bell mouth.

What is a PWK carburetor?

PWK carburettors are high-end carburettors characterized by their exceptional performance and are easy to adjust and tune. The idle, part-load and full-load ranges are clearly separated from each other, which ensures precise operation. Even with a standard configuration, these carburetors deliver impressive results, meaning that it is generally not necessary to replace the carburetor needle or emulsion tube. This is in contrast to some (Italian) competitor products, where you may have to choose between a large number of needles and emulsion tubes.

If you are interested in fine-tuning, you have the option of additionally enriching the mixture at full load via the power jet. This allows the power to be increased even more in the highest RPM range. If not needed or wanted, th powerjet function can be deactivated.

Dimensions PWK carburetor

As PWK carburetors were originally developed for off-road use, they are significantly larger than conventional scooter or moped carburetors. This requires the use of larger intake systems and air filters with correspondingly larger connection widths. Always make sure that you have sufficient space on your vehicle. The external dimensions are almost identical for all carburetors in the PWK series, but the connection widths for intake rubber and air filter vary depending on the carburetor cross-section. All PWK components such as carburetor jets, carburetor needles and adjusting screws are compatible with each other.

Which carburetor size?

For 70cc, from Sport to Racing, we recommend the 24mm PWK carburetor, which almost always will do a great job. We would only recommend smaller PWK carburetors for 50cc setups. For 70cc - 80cc high-end setups, 28mm PWK carburetors are ideal. For 80cc - 100cc, PWK 30mm to 34mm fit perfectly.

Please note :

When installing this type of carburetor, the original intake system can no longer be used, you need a larger intake system with a diameter of 35mm or 39mm; in addition, the original throttle cable  and original air filter must be replaced and a vacuum fuel tap must be used. The carburetor has no oil port, this menas you have use premix. If you have difficulties operating the choke, we recommend changing to cable choke. You will need a cable choke adapter (for PWK) and a choke button.
