Polini "Air Box" air filter (blue, 30° angled) - high-quality "open cell" air filter with excellent filter performance and very good air flow. The splash cap offers additional protection against moisture and noise - and looks great!
Air filter with splash cap
The optional dirt or water protection cap allows use in different weather conditions. Foam tuning filters are very susceptible to moisture, and the protective cap prevents the filter from quickly becoming soaked. The cap also looks great and ensures an excellent and appropriately loud sound.

Note: The connection size is measured on the carburetor. The rubber mounts of air filters are often slightly smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.
what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
