Advantages of quick action throttle

Using a so-called quick action throttle or simply quick throttle reduces the angle of rotation of the throttle, this way the throttle travel is shortened. This is particularly useful when converting to a larger carburetor with a larger passage and thus longer opening travel of the throttle slide, as the long travel is simply annoying in the long run, and hand cramp are no fun.

Tommaselli quick throttles

We offer the quick action throttle grips from Tommaselli in different versions. You can choose between black and alu/chrome versions and whether the throttle cable should be led away upwards or horizontally. Stroke and rotation angle are specified, the shorter the angle the faster the throttle opens.

For quartermile and acceleration racing we recommend a shorter angle and for street use rather a larger angle.
