Andrea Pinasco was one of the first mechanics who successfully tried to improve the performance of classic Vespa scooters, and his company Pinasco consequently became one of the household names for Vespa tuning. Patented design by Pinasco: Pinasco Split Rim Wheel tubeless 2.10x10' Vespa, 2-part wheel that can be opened for changing tires. The rim has a 2.1' channel for perfectly centred placement of the tire, avoiding any misalignment; this leads to more stability and optimized rotation.
The valve is at the exact same spot as on the original wheel. Dealing with a flat tire is really easy, simply insert a tire tube, you don't have to replace the complete tire.
The wheel is very robust with long life expectancy. The rim flanges are reinforced, a locking ring keeps the 2 parts safely together. The surfaces are smooth and rounded so changing a tire can be dome without any special tools.
