MOTUL RBF 660 is a fully synthetic brake fluid based on polyglycol for racing applications. Suitable for all brake systems, it can also be used in conventional brake systems as well as hydraulic actuated clutch systems. It surpasses common brake fluids based on polyglycol (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1).For daily use, please take conventional brake fluids that are recommended for your setup by the manufacturer. RBF 660 is highly hygroscopic, i.e. takes up water more readily than other brake fluids, which makes it necessary to exchange the fluid after every second race at the latest. Differences to common brake fluids include viscosity and a higher boiling point. During races, brake systems are subject to higher temperatures, which can result in the formation of bubbles beyond the boiling point; so to prevent this, a sufficiently high boiling point is essential. RBF 660 has a dry boiling point of 325°C, which satisfies even the highest requirements.
Dry boiling point: 325°C
Wet boiling point: 205°C
