DetailsJust like its predecessor, the Stage6 R/T MKII has been made of 0.8mm sheet steel. Elaborately hand-welded from several separate cone sections, the exhaust doesn’t only convince with its amazing performance, but also looks good. A spring-mounted carbon silencer with CNC-machined end caps, clean weld seams and an exhaust bracket with rubber support round off the amazing finish. An interesting new feature is the screwed and removable stinger: inserting bushes allows for changing engine characteristics and adjusting the exhaust to the engine.
In addition to using a straight stinger tube and a special dragrace muffler, the layout has been modified so as to allow for more ground clearance, making this exhaust perfect for especially low scoots.
In answer to requests from many of our customers, we now also offer a way to mount the Stage6 R/T exhaust system to all Piaggio cylinders, using a specially designed flange. Requirement is, however, a crankshaft with 85mm or 90mm conrod to prevent the downpipe from bumping into the original engine mount.
Using this exhaust on a tuned Stage6 Racing MKII cylinder produced a performance plus throughout the whole RPM range as compared to a Stage6 R1400 system. On stock cylinders, the exhaust also yielded a noticeable increase in torque and performance.
See the performance diagram from our Dynojet.
